A Bronze Hanging Bowl from Castle Tioram
H.E. Kilbride-Jones, extract by Gordon Barr

The rim of a Bronze Hanging Bowl, probably 7th century A.D., was found in a midden at Castle Tioram ("Dry Castle") in the 1920s. It is held in the West Highland Museum, Fort William, and Gordon Barr has extracted the main details from the original forty-three page report by H E Kilbride-Jones.

Gordon's extract is HERE.

The forty-three page report is available here.
