Roshven

Roshven
Gaelic Rois-bheinn. Probably should be 'An Fhras-bheinn' (Pron; rass-veing) (The Shower Mountain). The hill frequently has cloud and showers while there is fine weather around. In correct grammatical Gaelic usage it would have been heard most frequently in expressions such as 'aig an Fhrois-bheinn' 'faisg air an Fhrois-bheinn' (Dative case, fh silent). In most usage and in English the name then became 'Fhrois-bheinn.
